Supply & Demand Weekly Setup Flow

Weekly analysis β†’ zone marking β†’ A+ checklist β†’ execution. Complete this every Sunday before placing any orders for the week. Static reference β€” does not alter trades or analytics.

4H / 8H / Daily range 25% or 75% priority 50% only with trend Below A+ = delete 7 / 10 A+ minimum
WEEKLY PRE-MARKET ANALYSIS
Sunday evening β€” complete before placing any orders for the week
Phase 1 β€” Higher Timeframe Analysis
HTF
Mark HTF Structure & Range
Daily / 8H β€” zoom out, read the whole story first
01Mark HTF price action β€” HH, HL, LH, LL on Daily/8H.
02Daily/8H range β€” most recent high to most recent low. Defines 25/50/75% regions.
03Daily trend & structure β€” identify directional bias (bullish / bearish).
04Daily zone if visible β€” supply or demand zone on Daily TF.
05HTF bias β€” heading to 25% (bearish) or 75% (bullish)?
06Mark liquidity β€” EQL / EQH / relative equals / trend pools based on HTF bias direction.
25% PRIORITY50% HIGH RISK75% PRIORITY
25% & 75% = highest probability Β· 50% = with-trend only Β· outside = delete
Phase 2 β€” Lower Timeframe Analysis
4H
Mark 4H Structure, Direction & Mini Ranges
Align with HTF bias β€” identify fractal ranges within the larger range
07Mark 4H structure β€” HH, HL, LH, LL on 4H.
084H price direction / trend β€” current 4H trend or most recent trend direction.
09Mark any mini ranges β€” fractal 25/75 regions within HTF range if visible.
10Spot recent BOS β€” break of structure zones for price to re-enter.
114H vs Daily alignment β€” opposing 4H = retracement only, higher risk.
12Always zoom out β€” 4H story must align with HTF before proceeding.
Phase 3 β€” Zone Marking
ZN
Mark Supply & Demand Zones / Order Blocks
Prioritise 25% & 75% of HTF range Β· draw mini-range zones if applicable
13Prioritise 4H zones at 75% & 25% of HTF range β€” highest probability placement.
14Draw zones in mini-ranges at their 75% and 25% if needed β€” price is fractal.
15Check obsolete A+ zones outside 75%/25% β€” delete unless all other criteria met.
16Zone type β€” R1 Swing, R2 Equal, R3 Congested. Take zone responsible for BOS only.
17Refined vs Unrefined β€” Unrefined = larger hit box β†’ 75% region (1:3). Refined β†’ 50% region (1:2).
18Zone move strength β€” price should slow approaching zone. Explosive approach = lower probability.
Zone within 25% or 75% region?
50% allowed only if following current trend Β· all others = delete
NO β€” DELETE
βœ•
Delete Zone
Outside 25%/75% and not following trend. Delete. Zone cannot be A+ without correct placement.
YES β€” PROCEED
Valid placement. Proceed to A+ checklist. 50% zone: tag as high-risk.
Phase 4 β€” A+ Setup Checklist
A+
A+ Setup Criteria β€” Must Score 7 / 10
Green = hard requirements Β· must score 7+ to qualify as A+
01Imbalance present β€” strong imbalance visible at/near zone
02Unmitigated SnD zone β€” strong unmitigated SnD, strong zone base
03Matches 4H trend β€” zone bias matches 4H direction
04Matches Daily trend β€” bias matches Daily TF direction
05SnD in Entry Zone β€” in 1:3 or 50% designated area
06In Daily range supporting bias β€” inside BH range fully
07Liquidity in bias direction β€” EQL/EQH block in front of bias
08Zone by large candle BOS β€” 4H/2H BOS by large candles not wick
09Most recent VALID zone β€” Large BOX or NEW BOX only
10Zone not stupidly large β€” not drawn from entire BH TF range
Zone scores 7 or more out of 10?
A Setup = 4–5 Β· B Setup = 2/5 = do not trade Β· A+ = all 5 hard criteria β†’ runner on
BELOW 7 β€” DELETE
βœ•
Delete / Downgrade
Score < 7: not A+. Delete the zone. Do not trade.
B Setup (2/5): do not trade β€” historically low win rate.
7+ / A+ CONFIRMED
A+ confirmed. All 5 hard criteria met = runner automatically applied (0.05%).
Note grade in journal before placing order this week.
Phase 5 β€” Liquidity Marking & Target Setting
LIQ
Mark Liquidity Areas & Set TP Targets
Based on bias direction β€” become your take-profit targets
19Equal Lows (EQL) β€” sell-side liquidity below lows. Target for bearish bias.
20Equal Highs (EQH) β€” buy-side liquidity above highs. Target for bullish bias.
21Relative equal highs/lows β€” near-equal swing points acting as liquidity pools.
22Trend liquidity pools β€” stop clusters along trend line / structure in bias direction.
23Set TP at opposing zone β€” 50% area or 25%/75% opposing region for maximum RR.
24Confirm clear draw β€” no clear liquidity target between entry and TP = no trade.
EXP
Over-Exposure & Correlation Check
Mandatory before placing any order β€” Trading Rule 1
β†’Max 2 positions in correlated group (EU/GU/AU/EG Β· US indices Β· JPY crosses). Third = skip.
β†’Do not increase risk until equity is meaningfully above starting balance.
⚠ Check for over exposure on trades before commencing weekly trades

Reducing Wicked-Out Trades β€” Set & Forget Compatible
SL
4 Methods β€” Applied at Analysis, Not During the Trade
Zero change to execution Β· all decisions made on Sunday before orders are placed
METHOD 1 Widen SL to Zone Extreme + Wicks
Place SL beyond the full zone box including any wicks at the base β€” not at the zone mid-point. The most common cause of wicked-out losses is a stop inside the zone's liquidity sweep range. Set this during analysis on Sunday; nothing changes once the order is live.

Tag: WickedOut to track which zones it still happens on.
METHOD 2 LiquidityInZone = Auto Grade Downgrade
During zone marking, check if there is obvious liquidity sitting inside or just beyond the zone boundary (equal lows, wicks, prior reaction points). If yes β€” apply the LiquidityInZone tag.

Rule: any zone tagged LiquidityInZone automatically fails A+ criterion 07. Cannot score 7/10. No execution.
METHOD 3 ClearOfLiquidity as a Hard A+ Requirement
Promote ClearOfLiquidity to a mandatory criterion β€” if a zone is not ClearOfLiquidity, it cannot achieve A+. This automatically filters wicked-out zones at the analysis stage, working hand-in-hand with Method 2.
METHOD 4 FullZone Over RefinedZone on Volatile Pairs
Refined zones = smaller hit box = more vulnerable to wicks on volatile pairs (GBPJPY, GOLD). On these pairs, prefer FullZone over RefinedZone β€” more room for the limit order to fill before stop is reached.
Key principle: Every method is a pre-trade analysis decision made on Sunday. The set-and-forget execution is unchanged β€” you're improving the quality of what gets placed, not how it's managed.
